You’ve made a few generations. Now you build the trusted version.
1

Refine the DNA

The first-draft DNA from import is a starting point, not a verdict. Open the Dossier, edit the visual tags, sharpen the signature items. Every change feeds the next generation.
2

Generate variations

Use the Workflows panel for structured outputs (Portrait, Range pack, Environment), or the Command Bar with /vary 2x2 followed by what you want to vary, tagging your character with @.
3

Compare side by side

Every generation lands in the Library. Look across them. Pick what feels like the character.
4

Crown the hero

The image that defines the character visually gets crowned as the Primary Look. Every downstream use pulls from it first.
5

Pin alternates

A profile shot. A wide. A different expression. A wardrobe variation. Pin them as the range that supports the primary look.
6

Move to the next character

Repeat. Then do the environment.
When the cast is canonical, the scene is half-built.
